Truly Lighting were recently appointed to create a lighting scheme for a beautiful family home in Hampstead, London. The property has been finished to a very high standard, and the owners wanted to introduce a lighting scheme that helped to enhance the beautiful finishes found throughout the home.

The lighting design created by Truly Lighting encompasses many wonderful lighting features throughout the house. One example is the stunning decorative pendants and wall lights, as well as the cleverly concealed strip lighting that illuminates the stairs. The client requested for the stairs to be lit, but without visible fittings. Truly Lighting concealed a small LED strip in the side, which gives a soft glow to the stairs with no obvious light source.

In the corners of the stairs Truly Lighting has used up/down wall lights, which work fantastically to highlight the impressive ceiling heights. The trimless ceiling recessed downlights are discreet, as well as keeping the look of the ceiling clear and crisp.

In the bathrooms, low level uplights, mini wall recessed floor washers and a collection of niche lighting elements have all helped to create dramatic effects. The lighting also ensures the family can benefit from a soft evening setting when using the bathroom later in the day and during the night.

Truly Lighting used many layers of lighting, these included recessed downlights, pendants, wall lights, low-level floor lighting and concealed LED strip lighting. This allows for a variety of scenes to be set, which the client is enjoying using. From energising day settings with the children to soft and dimmer settings when it's time to relax in the evenings, Truly Lighting has created a bespoke lighting scheme that meets the needs of the family at any time of the day.
