Marylebone

The latest project with Fitness First is their Marylebone fitness sanctuary. This location required a swift and seamless turnaround to minimise disruption for members and staff, and as such Truly lighting was delighted to design and deliver the lighting scheme in a timely manner.

Collaborating closely with LXA, Truly Lighting developed a vibrant and functional lighting scheme that helps enhance the atmosphere and usability of the space.

LED strip lighting was positioned on either side of the mirrors for balanced illumination, while sleek black suspended pendants were used to light the large weights area with some pendants finished in bespoke red RAL colour to reflect Fitness First’s signature colour palette.

To add visual interest and energy, a series of bold red tubular pendants were introduced in the double-height cardio area. Throughout the space, elements included concealed LED lighting along the red-panelled corridor to colour-changing LED strip lights in the spin studio. Up/down wall lights accentuate the columns, while Hollywood-style wall lights and red tubular spotlights bring a refined, sophisticated touch to the changing rooms.

The result is a vibrant, welcoming, and well-lit gym environment that meets the Fitness First brief - a space that’s both functional and full of character.
