The contrast between the refurbished church and the new community centre creates a dramatic and interesting scene.

The full height glass wall is a stunning feature and allows lots more light in to the building. The beautiful church roof previously just faded in to the dark, we used spotlights to illuminate the detail and height of the space. Spotlights were also used to light the new hanging crucifix kite and the sculptures in the nave, bringing more drama and warmth to the area.

We wanted to keep the lighting discreet so we placed them on ledges below the roof and having them RAL finished helped to blend in with the interior. These two completely different spaces have both been successful in producing contrasting but complimentary designs.
